We were approached by Nick Taylor’s (Pro Golfer from Abbotsford) team.  Starfish Pack Abbotsford is his new charity of choice for the RBC social media challenge. The challenge is to use #RBCGolf4Kids as many times as possible during a 5 week period. Once the #RBCGolf4Kids has been used 25,000 on twitter, Facebook and Instagram collectively, starfish pack will receive our share of $300,000 (split between 15 players charities).  The campaign runs JUNE 15 until July 27.

Here is an easy link to follow the progress: http://g4k.teamrbcgolf.com/. The webpage has premade tweet’s and shares.

This is a group effort to spread the word, use the #RBCGolf4Kids. An example of a tweet: “thanks @ntaylorgolf59 for supporting #starfishpack. Bring it #RBCGolf4Kids”

(@ntaylorgolf59 is the handle for Nick Taylor on Twitter). The same example could be used on Facebook or Instagram.

The key is #RBCGolf4Kids

The Abbotsford Food Bank will be sharing content on Facebook on Thursday (June 18) and Twitter, all week long.  Please share, Retweet and create your own content to support our efforts.  $20,000 will go a long way in the Starfish pack program!

Thanks so much!

Your Food Bank Specialist
