Maren Kroeker Cyrus Centre Ministries; Donor and Community Engagement
I look forward to sharing the heart behind our organization, where we came from and what we have been up to recently! Maren has been involved with Cyrus Centre for the past 15 years, originally as a volunteer, then as a youth worker and then transitioned into various fundraising roles. Maren was born and raised right here in the Fraser Valley. She received her BA from UFV in 2016 and completed her MBA at TWU in 2022. Maren is passionate about finding sustainable solutions to end youth poverty here in the Fraser Valley.
Cyrus Centre Ministries provides 24/hour a day shelter, supports, meals, and services to youth aged 12-24 in the Fraser Valley.

Annual Food Drive Sunday, October 19 Dukh Nivaran Gurudwara, Surrey 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Proceeds will benefit the Guru Nanak Food Bank and the Starfish Projects. If you have any connections with a grocery store, warehouse, or food supplier that could support our food collection efforts, please let us know. Your involvement will help us expand our impact in the community.
The Rotary Club of North Delta is launching “The Magic Pencil” program, which provides school supplies and warm winter clothing to children in need. Buy your ticket now to support this program and you could win a bunch of money!
Rotary International continues to work on branding and communication of our organization throughout the world. They are pushing for greater exposure within the press, radio, television and social media.
To this end, we would like to encourage all members to participate, with contribution, on our social media sites.
Spread the message and good works of Rotary with your network by connecting with the Club and posting your contributions and sharing our posts. Your efforts could reach a potential new member, a new sponsor or partner. Don't keep Rotary a secret - talk it up!
