Clare Seeley is the Executive Director and a passionate advocate for moving our industry forward. She oversees our daily operations, develops tactical plans, champions the industry, and helps blend business strategy with marketing to ensure we’re delivering the greatest value to our partners. When not at work, you’ll likely find Clare hiking local trails, attending community events, or visiting the animals at our many local farms; all great reminders that tourism has a way of bringing people together and often inspiring learning in the most unexpected ways.
Barb Roberts is the Manager of Destination & Industry Development at Tourism Abbotsford and she absolutely loves it. She works hand-in-hand with their amazing partners to spark creative ideas, build meaningful connections, and create opportunities that help our community thrive. From Sport & Event Hosting Grants to Partner Engagement and Visitor Servicing, she's always excited to explore what’s possible. As a proud Tourism Abbotsford Ambassador, she is passionate about fostering strong, lasting relationships and driving community spirit through imagination, strategy, and collaboration. She is looking forward to an exciting year ahead and working together to keep Abbotsford shining bright!
Tourism Abbotsford is a Destination Marketing Organization that delivers tourism marketing and management on behalf of over 300 marketing partners. Tourism Abbotsford also leads the delivery of Visitor services in our community. The Abbotsford International Airshow is looking for Rotary volunteers, and they would love your support.
They are currently seeking volunteers for the following dates and shifts:
Friday, August 7— 1:30 PM to 7:30 PM Saturday, August 8 — 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM Sunday, August 9 — 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM
There are three gates that need approximately 25 volunteers per gate.
This is a chance to roll up our sleeves and make a meaningful impact while enjoying one of Abbotsford’s most iconic community events. Whether you can join them for a few hours or the full day, your time will help ensure the event runs smoothly and reflects the best of who we are as Rotarians and volunteers.
As Rotarians, we believe in Service Above Self —a principle that unites us and gives deeper meaning to everything we do.
Rotary International continues to work on branding and communication of our organization throughout the world. They are pushing for greater exposure within the press, radio, television and social media.
To this end, we would like to encourage all members to participate, with contribution, on our social media sites.
Spread the message and good works of Rotary with your network by connecting with the Club and posting your contributions and sharing our posts. Your efforts could reach a potential new member, a new sponsor or partner. Don't keep Rotary a secret - talk it up!
