Rotary Global Rewards

Since the launch of Rotary Global Rewards on 1 July 2015, over 100,000 members have visited the site! We would like to thank you for supporting the program by spreading awareness of it among your district and clubs.

If you have not visited Rotary Global Rewards recently, we now have over 1,500 offers worldwide. We recommend using the member benefits program both locally and when you travel.

If you’d like to give discounts to other Rotarians, add your own company’s special offers to the growing portfolio of Rotary Global Rewards. To date, over 350 offers have been posted by Rotarians.

We have also added two new and exciting global travel offers, a hotel discount center and an airline discount center, which provide great discounts and give up to 10 percent of your purchase back to Rotary.

See www.rotary.org/globalrewards for details. Spend less, give more.

Best regards,

Rotary Global Rewards program team

Greetings District 5050 Rotarians!
Governor Scott has begun his club visits (CLICK HERE to find out when he will be at your club) and has a special promotion for the Make It Happen! District Conference - register early for a chance to win a best in class 4K Ultra HD video recorder, the Hero GoPro 4 Black.  For details on the Conference and how to enter, CLICK HERE.

We have a busy and exciting year ahead of us with lots to celebrate!

Membership:  One of our big celebrations is our increased membership - a trend we will continue to build by continuing to look after our existing members and welcoming new Rotarians.   Contact Co-Chairs John Edwards (jwledwards@yahoo.com) and Isaac Williams (isaac.williams@edwardjones.com) to arrange presentations to your club.

Public Image Boot Camps:  September 10.  The first of three sessions requested by you in the Survey earlier this year.  We are asking for one or two members from each club to attend.  This session, on Marketing & Strategic Planning, will help your club promote your events and connect with your members and reach out to both the public and to new members.  The follow up sessions will provide training on your website and on social media.  CLICK HEREALMOST SOLD OUT - ONLY 14 SPOTS REMAINING!

RLI:  September 24.  There is no better way to help your members - new or long term - learn about Rotary and connect with others across the District than the Rotary Leadership Institute.  The three parts of RLI should be a requirement for all members, but particularly for recent members and those members wanting to be more involved in their club or the District.  CLICK HERE.

Explore The Rotary Foundation: October 22.  A rare opportunity to meet Ian Riseley, the 2017-18 Rotary International President, and other senior Rotary leaders as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of The Rotary Foundation.  See the attached flyer for details.  To register, CLICK HERE

Mark the date for our own District Foundation Gala Dinner on November 12 to be held at McIntyre Hall in Mount Vernon.  Further details to follow soon.

 COMING IN 2017!

Million Dollar Dinner:  January 9.  Another opportunity to celebrate The Rotary Foundation and meet current RI President John Germ early next year. CLICK HERE

Rotary International Convention - Atlanta, GA:  June 10-14.  Registrations have already exceeded original estimates and hotel rooms are filling up so register now.  CLICK HERE
