Rotary Club of Abbotsford Service Project Fund
Grant applications are now being accepted for consideration by the Rotary Club’s Community Service Grants committee. Each year our club awards grant monies to organizations in our community.  Maximum grant money available to each organization is $5,000 with a total club commitment for grants not to exceed $15,000.00.  As a reminder, last year Cyrus Centre, Abbotsford Youth Commission, The Reach Gallery Museum, and Raven’s Moon Resource Society all benefited from our grants.  In addition, the Salvation Army was awarded the District 5050 Matching Grant for the refurbishing of their Independent Living Units (still underway).
Please forward the grant application link along to any organizations that may benefit from a community grant up to a maximum of $5,000.00.  Please keep in mind the following;
  1. Service Projects must clearly identify Brand opportunities for the Rotary Club of Abbotsford.
  2. Preference is given to funding requests for specific programs or projects that provide a long lasting positive impact in our community and leave a physical asset in the community.
  3. Service Projects that benefit children, seniors at risk, address poverty and hunger, support efforts on behalf of the environment and literacy will be considered.
  4. The Rotary Club is looking for Service Projects that offer not only the opportunity to support financially, but also provide our membership with the prospect of directly participating in a “hands on” manner to support the project.
  5. Service Project funding is designed for community capital projects and will not be considered for ongoing operational funding.
  6. Priority is given to one-time funding applications, unless Rotary Club of Abbotsford has adopted a project or program for specific reasons.
  7. All other funding sources should be disclosed with each Service Project request.
Note:  The application can be found on our club website “in the news” at or by clicking HERE.  We will be accepting Grant Applications up to April 30th this year.  Please forward all applications to
