Discovery Trail Cleanup
Our club will be getting out to clean our section of Discovery Trail.

Please join us for fun in the park at 10:00am this Saturday, March 19th

We will meet in the Discovery Trail Parking lot on the east side of Gladwin road, located between Bethel Reform Church and Chief Dan George Middle School just north of Maclure Road.

Treats to be enjoyed during our walk supplied by Chris Oliver.

The walk will not take all that long so you will be able to enjoy the balance of your Saturday.  However, for those of you interested Marion Keys has graciously offered to host a meet and greet post walk with coffee, tea and sandwiches.

Wear your casuals with your Rotary gear.  We will supply all implements for trash pickup and garbage bags.  Please confirm by email to either bev@quantumproperties.ca or OliverChris2@gmail.com

Rotary Awards

Each year our district offers a number of awards for various aspects of Rotary life in your clubs and the district as a whole.

The following link to the District website is available so you can take a look at the list.  This year there will be awards for clubs of different sizes instead of the old "one size fits all" approach.

There is a DEADLINE for applications and it is March 31.

Rotary (LEARNING) Leadership Institute
The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a series of fast-paced, interactive, one-day courses offered to refine a Rotarian's leadership skills and increase their base of knowledge in Rotary. Courses are fun, topical, interactive, and geared toward busy business, professional and community leaders who want to be more effective leaders in their vocation and Rotary club and more knowledgeable Rotarians.

RLI is offered over 3 different sessions and at times a graduate course is offered. Rotarians must take the sessions in order beginning with Session 1.

Registration is now open and will be closed March 14th

Million Dollar Hole In One

The Million Dollar Hole-in-One Contest is our biggest fundraising event of the year running Saturday May 28th to Sunday June 5th.

This year, proceeds will be used to support the Starfish Program. Hosted at the Fraserglen Golf Course, the top golfers everyday win great prizes and qualify for a chance to win a shot at $1,000,000 in the finals on Sunday, June 5th

To our members we request three things (so far):

Prizes - many hands lighten the load!  Please get your prizes in to the prize committee.  If you don't have a prize to donate, we will happily receive cash!

Duty roster - Start thinking about dates and times you will be available to support our club.

Attend the Kick Off Lunch - being held on May 18th at Fraserglen
